The Blogger's Quilt Festival No.2!

I couldn't really decide which quilt of two I wanted to enter and now I've just posted about this one and read Amy says you can post two quilts...so it just had to be this one!



(Again, if you pop in here regularly, please look away now because I did bang on everso slightly about this quilt!)

 Over the course of several years I went from this...



...to this...



...to this...

Paper pieced pattern - Arrowhead Crossing from Judy Niemeyer


...by which time I was so completely done with it, for the first time ever, I sent it to a longarm quilter; the amazingly talented Krista who turned it into a quilt on a completely different level.


And I fell back in love with it.



I was blown away by her amazing quilting.


So I would like to enter this quilt into the 'professionally quilted' section of The Blogger's Quilt Festival.



And that's it...no more quilts to enter for me!
I am going to take a peek at what everyone else has been up to :-)

    This is honestly one of my favourite ever quilts! I love the way the scraps (which aren't particularly consistent in colour or style) have been worked into this bright, cheerful and absolutely beautiful quilt. I love the quilting as well - I think it complements the piecing perfectly! Fantastic work - this inspires me so much.

    I would've written quite a lot about this too - SO much time and work but it sure seems worth it. It's simply stunning.

    This quilt is amazing! I can't even imagine how much time you invested into this but it was sooooo worth it! This is definitely something worth making into an heirloom quilt!

    This is gorgeous. The quilting is amazing, but it wouldn't look that amazing if the quilt top wasn't amazing to begin with :)

    So beautiful! It is amazing how quilting transforms a quilt. The quilt top is so fun by itself, but the quilting really brings it to life!
