As you do.
Totally normal behaviour.
And there are lots of warehouses opposite with really good colours for backdrops against quilts.
I expect that was forefront of mind when they were choosing the colours.
A real smorgasbord of blocks and colours.
Coming together to make no. 48

Another brilliant quilt. Fabulous backdrops. Love the atmospheric boat yard and the painted corrugated iron is the perfect background colour for your bright colourful quilt.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this setting for a quilt photo shoot. Amazing idea and a beautiful quilt. well done on all fronts!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful backdrops for quilt photo’s! And another amazing quilt... of course!
ReplyDeleteLooking good. Darn! I just have to find myself a quilt holder upper. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnother very pretty quilt!! Your background makes a interesting contrast.
ReplyDeleteLove the backdrop as it really shows the quilt off. No. 48! :)

Love the backdrop for this wonderfully eclectic mix of repurposed blocks. (Can you still call them repurposed when they've finally found their purpose?) Another great quilt. I am spying a few that I forgot I sent. Fun!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love a quilty photo shoot? Cool spot for pics. Sometimes I think I should drive around with a finished quilt in my car, just waiting for the perfect spot. But then I get impatient and want to blog about it! :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic backdrop! Great quilts too!
ReplyDeleteAww, way to use the local color for a great backdrop! Your quilt looks fab!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great backdrop... a scrap boat yard for a scrap quilt!! Too cool!
ReplyDeleteThat was a perfect quilt photo background--both sides. Love the old stuff and the rusty color with the quilt. And you are right, that blue is just too perfect for the colors in the quilt. I am sure they did it all for you. :-) I even recognized one of my blocks. Fun.
ReplyDeleteI hope the quilt holder upper was careful where they put their feet - I'm a little worried about them standing on a nail or stubbing their toe on a piece of metal!!! Maybe some steel toe-capped boots are in order for when they hold up quilt number 49!
ReplyDeleteGreat setting! You'll be enticing all the photographers to your island to find their locations!
