Pride of place above Daughter No. 2's bed |
But as much as I loved making them...
And this one is above Daughter No.1's bed |
Yup, I did use some batiks and I think, in moderation, and mixed in with other genres of fabric they are fine |
So if you want either of the two patterns...
...just leave a comment for either Lilly Pilly or Meg's Garden.
I'm thinking this isn't really a giveaway more of a clear out therefore my clear out rules are different.
I will randomly pick who gets what dependent on the weather; next time it rains - I'll pick.
Random enough?
Both these patterns are by Kelli Wulfshon from here and are well written and fun to make.
PS. The five day forecast shows no rain ;-)
Both are gorgeous patterns, but I just love Lilly Pilly. I am doing a rain dance over here - ha ha!!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! So nice of you! I love Lilly Pilly, too! (And I love the molding up at your ceiling :-) beautiful) It's raining today in Rhode Island!
ReplyDeleteOohh rain dance for megs garden!!! Lol I have actually wanted to try these for a long time! I just never got around to ordering them i guess! Overrun by other ideas and desires i'm guessing! (Quilters have a tendancy to have ADD haha..at least THIS one does!)
ReplyDeleteI am making quilts for five daughters. Two share a room and have requested rainbow quilts. Meg's Garden would be the perfect addition to their walls. Your version is lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh, they're gorgeous! I'd love either of the patterns so if I'm lucky enough to be picked then give me the pattern that the other lucky person doesn't want! (Does that make sense? My brain is too tired to construct proper sentences today!)
ReplyDeleteI was always admiring Meg's Garden. Yours are so wonderful, but I'm not surprised that you don't want make them again. How long did you make them?
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine how much time should be spent to finish them, but anyway I would love to make one.
I've always admired those patterns and would love to covet one of them
ReplyDeleteI love your use of batiks in Meg's Garden. I'd love to have your copy of the pattern to use in my own home.
ReplyDeleteI'd love either but will choose Meg's Garden as first choice. Your renditions are both beautiful.
ReplyDeleteohh, I'd love to try Lilly Pilly. Your version with the plaid tree is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love Meg's garden and would be thrilled to win. It is a hard pattern to find where I live!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Meg's Garden and so would my daughter!
ReplyDeleteHmm I like both so either would be great. I guess if I have t choose, Lilly Philly. Thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteHard to pick, but the little birds in Lilly Philly are just so adorable!
ReplyDeleteBoth are gorgeous, but I really love Megs garden the best! Special quilts. Lucky girls.
ReplyDeletehaha cute idea, get quilts - you have A LOT of patience! Im leaning to the Lilly Philly myself..
ReplyDeleteOh what a great way to clear out things no longer needed. Must say though both of your quilts/wall hangings are stunning. I would find it hard to choose, but I do have a pattern similar to Meg's garden, so Lilly Philly would be the one for me. Now should I wish for rain in your part of the world????
ReplyDeleteI love Lilly Pilly, partly because I could see it working for my boys in shades of green and blue.
ReplyDeleteI love them both!!! but if pushed I would choose Lilly Pilly!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful, but I like Meg's garden just a little bit better!
ReplyDeletethey are beautiful! i'd love to do Meg's garden, it's just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try Lilly Pilly, and in about 5 years when I finished it, I'd be passing it on too! I've done some Emily Peacock cross stitch recently, and they are fantastic, but there is a certain 'been there, slaved through that' feeling about some projects!
ReplyDeleteI love both of the beautiful wallhangings you made! I would be happy with either pattern...thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI'd actually like either, but if forced to pick (lol) I'd go with Meg's Garden!
ReplyDeleteLilly Pilly. I love them both, but I think I might actually complete it as it looks just a little less complex. :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBoth your wall hangings are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win Meg's Garden. It would go great in our daughters' room.
Those are beautiful!! Megs garden is so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It's still raining in Little Rhody, great for the garden so I'm not complaining!
ReplyDeleteMeg's Garden looks absolutely brilliant! Thank you for the chance.
ReplyDeleteThese are stunning. I think Lilly might be a bit closer to my skill level. Here's hoping for some rain for you. We are just trying to avoid hurricanes
ReplyDeleteI would love Lilly Pilly. Your quilts are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love both but your Megs Garden is great. Truly wonderful!
ReplyDeleteKaren
I would love to win either of them: love them both!
ReplyDeleteLilly Pilly! But they're both beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMeg's Garden would be my choice as it looks a bigger version of the small one in the Whip Up book that I have nearly finished!
ReplyDeleteI have a bucket full of scraps just waiting .....Megs garden would be wonderful. How generous of you to recycle your patterns.
ReplyDeleteI think they're both lovely and oyur versions are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThese turned out just beautiful. I'm sure the recipients of the patters will be thrilled to receive the pattern. You did just a marvelous job on them that is for sure!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Carolyn
Love them both, but I think Lilly Pilly would be my first choice. You certainly have stamina to have completed both!!
ReplyDeleteHaha I am not surprised you are not doing this again - major achievement to get them done once!
ReplyDeleteLilly Pilly if you are feeling frivolous enough to pick me when it rains - love that hehe!
Love them both!!! Today was a Picture perfect day, but the next 2 days are going to be rainy
ReplyDeleteTENGO UNA NENA DE 4 AÑOS Y DESDE QUE VI EL JARDIN DE MEG, ME ENAMORÉ........
