Soy Amado No. 26

This one, in my mind, is coordinated by the pops of turquoise that appear throughout the quilt.

Again, a real mix of blocks.

This one in particular I was rather struck by.

It wasn't just the beautiful paper pieced mugs but also the use of the fabric at the bottom. It looks like the mugs are on a shelf underneath which are piles of fabric. Brilliant use of letting the fabric do all the work.

Each quilt has its own individual personality.

Which I love.

Thanks for keeping on sending me blocks.

It's been a real luxury to have enough to pick and choose from to get the right 'look' for each quilt.

  1. Those teacups are very cool and I love the block with the aqua cross through the centre. Every time I look at the these quilts it makes me think of summer holidays - lovely work lady :)

  3. I think you're right about the aqua - and how they all have their own personalities. Lovely!

  4. That seems to be the real beauty of these quilts is the personality and thought process behind them.

  5. I love the turquoise in this quilt. The tea cup block is so pretty, it jumps out of the quilt saying “Here I am!” :) All of the blocks are pretty and go together splendidly. Love the back of this quilt too.

  7. Another lovely quilt. I like the photos of the backs as well as the fronts, really makes them truly reversible quilts.

  8. WOW! Love that...you're so clever at putting them together....I like the block to the left of the teacups because I couldn't do it! I think I might have quilting OCD! I want to be random, then when I stand back and admire my handy-work....guess what....somehow, somewhere there is uniformity......I want to be free!

Will be contacting you for your address as I have a block to send you!

Keep up the amazing work xx

  10. The teacup block is fabulous. So clever how it appears to have stacks of folded FQs along the bottom. The whole quilt is another winner. Can't believe you have made another one so quickly.
