GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED
Earlier in the year, I got the opportunity to put together a Blogger's Choice Bundle for the Fat Quarter Shop
One of the best parts for me of the whole quilting hobby thing, is the putting together of fabrics. I also lucked out on the fabrics I was asked to choose from as there was Cotton & Steel, Jen Kingwell and Kaffe Fassett in there.
You have to choose from little images off the computer screen so it wasn't as easy as I thought it was. I wanted to go for really mad and bold colours that were not so off-the-wall that they didn't go together, as well as being mindful of offering a choice of tones.
I hope I succeeded.
Fat Quarter Shop is very kindly giving one bundle away.
To enter, please leave a comment telling me who your favourite(s) fabric designer is at the moment and why.
Extra comment for followers just because I think if you've hung around a while it's fair - in that comment tell me the temperature where you are.
All random comments, just like my Blogger's Choice Bundle.
Giveaway stays open until Wednesday 27 May, after which I will use Random Number Generator to pick a winner.
Good luck.
ahhhhh

At the moment my favorite designer is Carolyn Friedlander. Your bundle is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI follow via bloglovin!
ReplyDeleteIt are so many new designer's out there to love. It's hard to keep up. But Amy Butler is timeless to me and I always enjoy her fabrics. I love your bundle choices, especially that striped twisted purple.
ReplyDeletetushay3atyahoodotcom
I love Barbara Brackman and all things William Morris.i love the botanical flow of their designs. Timeless.
ReplyDeleteI'm a total freak for Carolyn Friedlander at the moment - I love the understated low volume stuff she has going on (your favourite, I know!)

and it is a (not so balmy) 12 degrees here at the moment, but meant to be getting up to 18 later. I'll believe it when it happens. Bloody England!
ReplyDeleteI love Kaffe Fassett, forever and ever - it's all about the color combinations abd varying sizes of prints. Of course, Melody Miller is a close second (as are all the C&S designers - I'm super impressed at how well they coordinate their prints while still maintaining the integrity of their different personalities in their designs).
ReplyDeleteI am a follower here in Nashville which has been dealing with nice summertime temps until today! I believe that right now it's in the 40s (f) but tomorrow we'll be back to the perfection range of 70s with low humidity. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI like kaffe fassett! I read a book of his from the library and it had the most awesome designs and quilts! Always so colorful!

Mmm, I have my go to faves of Lizzy House and Tula, but at the moment I am especially loving Alison Glass. I love her use of colour and the way she continues to do something new
ReplyDeleteI follow you via Bloglovin. It is warm where I am but only because the heater is on. Outside it's cold!!!
ReplyDeleteI still love Malka Dubrawskys fabric collections.
ReplyDeleteYour own bundle, very cool :) I think I like BasicGrey best as a design house as they have a vintage feel to their fabrics and the colours aren't always obvious choices.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and my phone tells me it's 16 degrees, not sure if that's true or not.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower. It's 51 degrees here in Ohio. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI love Kaffe Fassett for his bold and exciting colors. I also like lots of florals.
ReplyDeleteJen Kingwell of course! She is from my home town and I have even met her (not that she knew who I was!!!)
ReplyDeleteYep, a long time follower! It's 13C here tonight! Winter is settling in!
ReplyDeleteKaffee Fasset
ReplyDeleteI like Kaffeeklatsch Fassett because of shot cottons
ReplyDeleteI love them all!!!!!!!!!! Analey Holey is one of my favs right now. But all the ones everyone else is mentioned are so awesome!!
ReplyDeleteTula Pink has always been my favorite. Her fabrics just speak to me.
ReplyDeleteI have been following you for some time now. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice here today, the high will be around 68 degrees F with lots of sunny skies.
I am crazy for Zen Chic. Great geometric prints and I love the color combos.
ReplyDeleteI folllow via GFC. Yesterday was cool and lovely, about 60 degrees F. Not sure what the forecast is for today.
ReplyDeleteI love Lotta Jansdotter. Follow you with bloglovin.
ReplyDeleteYou did succeed with your bundle. My favourite designer is Nancy Halvorsen because of the whimsical aspect of her designs. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePlease click on the delaineelliott above for my email link.

ReplyDeletePlease click on the delaineelliott above for my email link.
I've always loved Kaffe Fassett fabrics, but Jen Kingwell is appearing on my wishlist pretty often!
ReplyDeleteToday, the temp is 42F, which is weird this time of year! Usually, it's much warmer. Global warming, no doubt.
ReplyDeleteKaffe fassett has always been a favourite of mine for his blissful use of colour, but lately I have liked and become engaged with Cotton & Steel modern approach to colour - they lend themselves so well to geometric shapes.
ReplyDeleteAdelaide, South Australia is a rug hugging 11 deg C, not quite icy but cold enough.
Aaaaahhhk! Well, I could always use another one aye. To start with, this combination is a wildly compelling one and i can't risk not winning it so i'm glad there's already one on its way. Secondly, my utter fave designer has to be Anna Maria Horner, because she subscribes to the "more is more" philosophy. As do you, apparently. Can't wait for this bundle, either way! I could make a bigger quilt if I won ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love Alison Glass's use of wonderfully saturated colours!
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope this isn't your last blogger bundle on offer! Today in Colorado it's 8 C and, more pertinently, still raining. It's been raining for weeks. I don't think anything's been properly dry since March. It's a vermicelli massacre out there with bloated pale worms, but saddest of all is that i can't find my sunglasses. It's been such a long time since i've used them that they've been misplaced into oblivion. In this state, where we get 300 days of sunshine a year, this is unheard of and absurd. It looks and feels like Ireland or New Zealand, when we are a mile above sea-level and surrounded by desert-plateau prairielands.
ReplyDeleteGFC follower!
ReplyDeleteIt's 16 degrees here in the UK
It's 55 degrees here in East Canton, Ohio!
ReplyDeleteI love Kate Spain because of her cohesion of her collections.

ReplyDeleteIt's 50 degrees. Following on bloglovin'. 24Tangent@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm into bright colors so I am loving Alison Glass-her prints are so lovely!
ReplyDelete*rattles brain for a favourite fabric designer* *rattles a bit more* *fails miserably* I'm afraid I don't have a favourite fabric designer as I don't tend to take any notice of who has designed the fabric unless I need to know so I can buy some more. If I'm honest, I'm more interested in finding prints and colours I like than remembering who designed them! (This could go a long way to explaining why online fabric shopping is so hard for me!) I love your bundle, it's a great combination of colours and prints!
ReplyDeleteI think it's about 20C up here, if you are in the sun and out of the wind. In the sun and wind it's more like 14C. In the shade and the wind it's about 10C!
ReplyDeleteYour collection is a great mix! I am looking forward to Angela Walters fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI follow via bloglovin.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving Cori Dantini's art right now!

ReplyDeleteI love Kaffe Fassett designs as the patterns and colors lend so beautifully to whole cloth quilts and pillow tops. The fabric you chose to put in your bundle is gorgeous and certainly takes the stress out of the process for quilters like me.
