Soy Amado No. 71

All the blocks came from one person in Australia, with the package containing a rather nice packet of Tim Tams.

In the interests of full disclosure, they didn't even make it as far as the biscuit tin.

I'm afraid it's not the best lighting for these pics as I went for the more aesthetically pleasing sunset shot instead.

It still makes for a lovely quilt though.

On a separate note, some people have said they can't read my ebook because they don't have a Kindle. You don't actually need one!
Just download the free Kindle app and then you can read ebooks on smartphones and tablets.

Thank you to everyone who already has. x

  1. Lovely blocks which you have turned into a super quilt. The colours are so pretty. No doubt the Tim Tams helped the sewing machine go faster.

  2. Wow how nice of someone to send so many coordinating blocks and a little treat for you! It turned out lovely--which was probably fueled by those treats ;-)

  3. Lovely sunset shots. Nice to get some Tim Tams to help with your energy levels 😂

  4. Still haven't downloaded yet, but I haven't forgotten you! This is a beautiful quilt and I love the light :)

  5. Love the colors in this quilt, it's a beauty. I do not have a Kindle but have the app on my iPad and downloaded your book with no problems.

  6. SEVENTY ONE!! Is that number knocking your socks off? It's doing that to mine, Alison! What a tremendous success you have made of this project. Brilliant idea, and you have kept at it faithfully, allowing us to help by sending you blocks. I still have a stack of blocks in progress, awaiting quilting, but haven't made it into my sewing room for months now. I will email you before I send them to you - hopefully in January - to make sure you still want them. Color me impressed! And grateful! Thank you!

  7. Wow! Enough blocks to make a beautifully coordinated whole quilt AND Tim Tams!?

  8. I think this may be my new favourite SA quilt!
