We haven't had an orange quilt yet, have we?
Well how about this one?
I starting picking out blocks that had orange in them; whether a little or a lot, I put them all to one side.
The blocks are quite random in style but (I think) seem to work well together because of their common colour.

And I decided with all the cars scooting around on it, for a boy it should be.
It's WONDERFUL! The color orange is uplifting! Good job, as always.

ReplyDeleteI love orange! Cool to see ten of my blocks in here! I can't believe how quickly you are cranking them out, Alison! THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteHave you had any more photos from the group home with new batches of quilts arriving/being used?
Another delivery was made this week and I did ask for photos of quilts on beds. Unfortunately the quilts had just been washed and were all in a pile but have had name labels added to them with the name of each child they belong to. Next delivery is middle June and I have asked for photos.
DeleteHow great that they are labeling the quilts for specific kids! Great idea.
DeleteI hope you feel really proud of what you have achieved/ are achieving!!
And it must be fun having so many blocks to make your selections from!
DeleteThe orange quilt is a really happy looking quilt.
ReplyDeleteYes, the color harmonizes the very different blocks. The orange makes a great dominant color. It helps that some blocks have less orange than others.
