Soy Amado No. 44

Some purples, the same block in all four corners and No. 44 was decided.

Another fabulous 'Soy Amada' embroidered block from Sheila

I'm beside a babbling brook in this one but I appreciate you probably can't see it but it is there and doesn't look much like it is babbling.

But it is.

And on this occasion I may be guilty of babbling too because I don't really know what else to say about this quilt other than I love it.

  2. I sent my blocks to Leila to send to you. I almost got chills down my spine this morning when I saw this quilt! So glad to see a couple blocks that made it from my little island in the Pacific all the way to yours!

  3. You do such an amazing job of putting everything together in each of these quilts! I spy five of my blocks in this one, and saw a couple in the past two quilts as well. So happy for your Soy Amado block drive success for these uplifting works of love.

  7. Really lovely. The four corner blocks are great. Does that block design have a name - I don't think I've seen it before. Again, lovely colours which blend together so beautifully.

  8. A lovely quilt and such a great location for your photoshoot. It looks very serene. Are you sending your photos to the orphanage? If I was a child there I would love to see a photo of 'my' quilt taken in another part of the world.
